Bill Drier and Jacque Bilyeu launched Drier & Associates, Inc. in 2017. They hold separate practices treating individuals.

 

The need for services to couples and families quickly became obvious, their professional work and “lived experiences. “Led to a response to the sheer need for services. Together, they offer a collaborative approach to working with couples and families. And are recognized for their work together with couples and families in Cedar Valley.

Some of our Professional Services include Clinical Supervision, Assessments, Advocacy, Consultations, and second opinions.

ABOUT ME

William (Bill) Drier, PhD, LISW, ACSW

Bill has a very straightforward and matter-of-fact approach to psychotherapy and counseling. He describes his approach as “change-oriented”, believing the client’s inherent strengths provide the keys to growth and recovery. Bill recognized the profound role the family plays in mental health. Bill finds working with families especially rewarding. Much of that work includes couple and marriage counseling and youth.

 

His approach is backed by evidence-based practices. He has performed research for leading US hospitals and physician academies on maternal health, premature infants and early childhood development. He was a lead investigator for treatments for depression, mood disorders, anxiety and sleep disorders, ADHD, and addictions.

 

Bill was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. He studied and later practiced Chicago. He moved to Idaho in 2003 where he raised his children, held a private practice and enjoyed his horses. He returned to Waterloo in 2015.

Jacque Bilyeu, LMSW, MFA, MPA

Jacque is a partner at Drier & Associates, Inc., launching the company in 2017. She understands that empowering the patient’s self-determination is the fundamental tenant for healing, growth, and change. Jacque views most of her patient’s problems as the result of life transitions. These are typically central to the emergence of anxiety, stress, depression, grief, and loss. Jacque practices strength-based, trauma-informed care using today’s advanced standards for evidence-based interventions.


Jacque’s academic work reflects a diversity of thinking that underpins her commitment to a change process that embraces compassion for understanding.

  • MSW (Walden University),
  • MPA (The Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota)
  • MFA (Virginia Tech). and Auburn University.
  • She works with men, women, and couples, who are seeking a guided change process. She also co-leads marital and family therapy with her partner.


She was born in Minnesota and grew up in Georgia. She has lived in many states and traveled extensively, giving her a unique worldview. Diversity is welcome and celebrated. Jacque has traveled extensively, resided in many states, and has a unique perspective on diversity.

Jacque knows a bit about parenting. She attributes her expertise to her two children, both attending metro area middle schools.
